Kaitlin Morrison Director
Kaitlin Morrison was the Director of NYCELLI from 2019-2022. She was a member of the NYCELLI class of 2018, and her environmental project focused on preventing bird strikes in urban areas.
Kaitlin is currently a Staff Attorney at the Eastern Environmental Law Center.
In 2021, Kaitlin joined New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI) as a staff attorney in their environmental justice program. From 2017-2020, she served as a litigation fellow at NRDC, where her practice focused on protecting communities from harmful chemical spills, holding corporate polluters accountable, and enforcing federal clean water and pesticide laws. Before joining NRDC, Kaitlin clerked for Judge Gerard Lynch on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and Judge Denise Cote on the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Kaitlin holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and women studies from the University of Washington, and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was an Essays & Reviews Editor for the Columbia Law Review.
